ARTY KIDS
CREATIVE WORKSHOP
ABOUT ARTY KIDS
Welcome to our specialist lead workshops for children from 5 to 12 years old.
WHAT DO WE DO?
Workshops include drawing, painting, printmaking, crafts, and recycling art are provided in a fun and non-restrictive manner where your child can discover creativity in a safe and carefree environment.
What makes us different to others?
At Arty Kids, we believe in nurturing and exploring. We specialise in designing engaging arts and crafts activities for each workshop, which provides a stepping stone to discover different styles of arts and crafts further should the children wish to pursue in the future.
In a way, though our art workshops are non-restrictive, we aim to offer a foundation of art knowledge, which children will find helpful once they reach secondary school education.
We are free to create but with an educated intent behind all our workshops.
What's involved?
All of our workshops aim to introduce youngsters to explore different ranges of materials, concepts and styles.
Below are some examples of what is involved:
DRAWING
From chalk to crayons, pencils to pens or just your fingers. Different age groups will explore different suitable mediums based on their level.
PAINTING
From watercolour, gouache, and acrylic to ink. We demonstrate how to use these mediums, and children are free to explore the medium by creating their own work based on a given theme.
All workshops include necessary materials, from paint or ink, rollers, and papers, to stencils.
PRINT MAKING
CRAFTS
From traditional crafts to experimental crafts, these workshops will use many types of materials from simple paper, buttons, sticks, and cardboard to textiles.
RECYCLING ART
These wonderful workshops will open up how we see our rubbish and how to utilise it for new creations. It is a good practice to train children to use the resources around them. We will use a range of ready materials from yoghurt pots, plastic bottles, and old magazines to strings and many more.
In these workshops, we will discover different folk art techniques and materials such as mosaics, wools, feathers, raffia, mod roc, etc. The aim is to expose children to different styles of art making. The sky really is the limit.
